Friday, June 26, 2020, Exhibit Hall Theater COPE ID: 52440-AS Total CE Hours: 1 Description: The introduction of topical cyclosporine for the treatment of dry eye in 2003 launched a new frontier of dry eye research and technology. During the past decade clinicians have seen dry eye redefined and classified as well as protocols established for diagnosis and treatment options based on large scale studies and international workshops. Not until years later, in July of 2016, did the FDA approve the newest drug for the treatment for the signs and symptoms of dry eye in lifitigrast.
