Infrastructure – Roads, Canals & Railways Significant infrastructure affecting the study area is: o The “Londonderry & Railway” line constructed 1845 ( and North Counties Railway main line traverses study area) o The A2 Seaview Road which forms part of a tourism the “Causeway Coastal Route” o The “Bishop’s Road” a mid C19 famine relief project providing a direct link as the crow flies between and the Bishop’s residence at Downhill.
