Tyrann Mathieu The Start of A Great Defensive Player Purpose of Topic • I was interested in this Tyann Mathieu because when I first seen him play college football I was fascinated. I never seen a corner back play that good in college. • I am no longer interested in this topic because I’m at the point where there is nothing else to research about him. I also regret doing an individual person because it really didn’t benefit me on really learning something. I should of did a career topic or something else. • I am satisfied with my research because I know everything about my topic that I wanted to and about his background information. 1-Topics • Tyrann Mathieu • Sleep Paralysis • Enjoying High Paid Careers • Supernatural World • Serial Killings 2-Proposal • In my proposal, i want to do my presentation on the NFL rookie Tyrann Mathieu. I want to do my presentation on him because the way he plays caught my eye. I will talk about his college history in football. His negatives and how he is in the NFL now. I look forward to doing a project on one of the best corner backs in college history. 3-Heisman Candidate • Tyrann Mathieu was a Heisman Candidate heading into his senior year. He was considered the best defensive player in the NCAA. 4-Special Topic Research • Tyrann Mathieu born May 13, 1992, is an American football player who now is a rookie in the NFL at Safety for the Arizona Cardinals. He played for LSU but encountered many problems during college. He had a good defensive College and he also was a Heisman Finalist in 2011 known as the "Honey Badger" but he was kicked off the team his last year in 2012. He was kicked off the team due to team violations. He was smoking weed which led to scouts looking at him being irresponsible and he was drafted in the 3rd round which he should of been drafted in the 1st. 5-The Combeback • Tyrann Mathieu was headed to the first round after displaying a Heisman trophy finalist season. Although, he messed up when he violated NCAA rules smoking weed. As a result, he wasn't allowed to play his senior year and he became a third round pick to the Arizona Cardinals. Although he has had a great start on the team, he is the defensive leader for the team. Mathieu is second in tackles on the team and has a forced fumble and Fitzgerald also likes him and respect the way he plays. Tyrann Mathieu has also been working with a former LSU corner back and is now on the Cardinals with him, Patrick Peterson. He vouched for Mathieu and told the Cardinals coach to draft him and give him a chance because he was good kid. The coach and teammates also see good in him and his talent, and the fans already admire him. 6-Tyrann Mathieu In Hs • Tyrann Mathieu went to St. Augustine for high school. There he played for the St. Augustine Purple Knights football team. He had 32 tackles, five interceptions, and one fumble recovery as a senior. He also participated in the inaugural Team USA vs. The World game. He was rated a four star recruit. From there he was recruited to the LSU football team. 7-So Far So Good • Tyrann Mathieu has received defensive NFL rookie of the month for October. His last game he got his 2 second interception of his career and also could of had another but he dropped. Because of the dropped ball Tyran had to pay all his D Backs $100 because of the dropped pass. This shows how much Tyrann was is dedicated and how he wants to better his mistakes. 8-Another Step Higher • Tyrann Mathieu is has now been moved to first string at free safety. He now starts over Rashad Johnson who was the starting free safety. Johnson has missed to games due to a severed finger tip so why not start the healthy rookie. Mathieu will move to the base defense next week and cover receivers in the slot Conclusion • I would not like to continue this research in future because I really didn’t learn that much and I there wasn’t any more research I could really find about my topic. • My question was how would this benefit me and it did a little because I learned about a football player who I am interested in and is underrated. • My topic affected me because I learned more about a football player I was interested in. I know his ups and downs in his past and I can bring him up whenever my friends talk about good football players. • It is not different from who I thought it originally affected because I knew my topic would only affect my knowledge. It kind of also would affect other peoples’ knowledge if they would of read my blogs. • The research project wasn’t difficult at all, It was easy to me because it wasn’t hard to find information about Tyrann Mathieu..
