The result of Minnesota State University, Mankato alum Glen Tay- lor’s original $8 million donation is the construction of Taylor Center, a multipurpose arena and student center that serves as the gateway to MSU. Opened in the fall of 2000, Taylor #1 Hayley Hennen #2 Brittany Stamer #3 Erica Jost #4 Amanda Thompson Center is the home of the Mavericks, an inviting and state-of-the-art admissions center, and Bresnan Arena, a 5,000- seat coliseum designed for University gatherings and the best in intercollegiate athletics. Designed specifi cally to highlight intercollegiate basketball, volleyball and wrestling, Bresnan Arena features seating built to give Maverick fans the best view of the action. MSU athletic #5 Kelly Sandstrom #7 Amanda Beekman #8 Jamie Rasmussen #9 Allison Kunath programs benefi t from new locker rooms, coaching and staff offi ces, athletic training facilities, and a weight room. A spacious alumni center overlooks the court, and an upscale design will make Bresnan Arena one of the most attractive sports facilities in all of Minnesota and the upper midwest. Bresnan Arena has also become a gathering place for the MSU community, featuring convocations, commence- ment and activities that demand a high-capacity location. Just as Taylor Center is the crown of MSU, Bresnan Arena is the crown of Taylor Center and the pride of the department of athletics.
