This is about connecting teachers, nurses, social workers and the community together to help our families and build relationships between local services to serve our communities. Accord’s Hall Green Families work across Moseley and Kings Heath, Sparkhill, Sparkbrook, Balsall Heath and Hall Green to support children, young people and families through: 1. Sharing information and connecting networks to make it easier for people to get the support they need near to where they live. 2. Providing advice and guidance through telephone support and email. 3. Connecting families to extra support via the Family Connect approach. 4. Co-ordinating resilience fund applications up to £150 per families in need with children. This money is for emergency help such as food, nappies, medicines, supplies. These funds can only be applied for by a known statutory partner like a school, health professional or children’s centre. Here you will find a links on how to access further citywide resources and help for children and families. Locality lead email addresses and phone numbers for the other localities across Birmingham can also be found on the website mind map. The Hall Green Families Team works closely with the Hall Green Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) Team to strengthen all age connections between Birmingham’s statutory services, Hall Green community sector and vulnerable households. Both Accord teams are supported by Accord Housing Association’s wider organisational commitment to the locality through our general needs housing, co-operative housing management and specialist supported housing provision for older adults, young parents, ex-offenders, care leavers and people with learning disabilities. We look forward to working with you.
