INTERVIEW INTIMATION LETTER The interview to the remaining eligible candidates as per annexure, for recruitment to the post of Peon(Cooks) on the Establishment of High Court of Karnataka, as called for vide Notification No. HCE 535/2013 dated 18.11.2014, is Scheduled to be held from 9th January, 2017 to 21st January, 2017, in the premises of the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru. Further, the call letters for the interview to the said 297 eligible candidates are already dispatched through speed post. The candidates as stated in the annexure are informed to be present for the interview well in time on the date shown in the list alongwith the following original certificates/documents at the time of interview:- 1. Marks Card of Tenth Standard or Equivalent and character certificates/ID proof. 2. The original experience letter for having worked as cook. 3. If you are claiming the benefit of reservation/age relaxation under Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Cat- I/IIA/IIB/IIIA/IIIB, the Certificate in the form prescribed by the Government issued by the Competent Authority, in proof of your claim. 4. If you are claiming reservation under Local Cadre i.e., belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka Region, the relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority as prescribed under the Karnataka Public Employment (Reservation in appointment for Hyderabad Karnataka Region) (Issue of Eligibility Certificate) Rules, 2013. As the Opposition BJP launched a scathing attack on the government on the emotive issue, SJTA Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar urged the people of the State and millions of devotees of Lord Jagannath not to be misguided by such malicious lies and false reporting. Taking to the official twitter handle of the temple administration, SJTA chief said, “It has been falsely reported that 35,000 acre of land of Lord Jagannath is being sold. This is complete distortion of facts and is blatantly false and motivated.” The temple administrator said lands, which are occupied or are under possession of various persons since long but belongs to Shree Jagannath Mahaprabhu, are being settled by temple committee as per the ‘Unified Policy’ framed for the purpose in 2003 bring transparency and uniformity in the processes to be followed for with an objective to protect the temple land. While part of the district falls in the Malnad region, another part falls in the plain lands. Therefore the problems faced by these areas may also be different and diverse. Due to unlimited human intervention with nature and exploitation of nature, the frequency and probability of the disasters and accidents have increased drastically in the recent times. The heavy rains of August 2019 has taught the Administration to be alert and prepared for such type of disasters which are unforeseen. On the one hand heavy rains may cause floods, water logging and intense landslides, there may also be situations of drought and famine. In view of this the district has to be ready and gear itself up to meet any situation of emergency that may occur. The District Disaster Management Plan is the key for management of any emergency or disaster as the effects of unexpected disasters can be effectively addressed. This plan has been prepared based on the experiences of the past in the management of various disasters that have occurred in the district. This plan contains the blue print of the precautionary measures that need to be taken for the prevention of such disasters as well as the steps that have to be taken for ensuring that the human suffering and misery is reduced by appropriate and timely actions in rescuing the affected persons, shifting them to safer places and providing them with timely medical care and attention.

Ergonomics removes barriers to quality, productivity and safe human performance by fitting products, tasks, and environments to people. Ergonomics, as defined by the Board of Certification for Professional Ergonomists is a body of knowledge about human abilities, human limitations and human characteristics that are relevant to design. Ergonomic design is the application of this body of knowledge to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, jobs, and environments for safe, comfortable and effective human use". The profession has two major branches with considerable overlap. One discipline sometimes referred to as "industrial ergonomics," or "occupational biomechanics," concentrates on the physical aspects of work and human capabilities such as force, posture, and repetition. A second branch, sometimes referred to as "human factors," is oriented to the psychological aspects of work such as mental loading and decision making.
