It is also concerned with the physical, emotional and social aspects of a person’s wellbeing. It provides for the spiritual and religious care of the person, and is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team approach. It seeks to provide quality holistic care to the care recipients and give support to their families, friends and employees. Sr Sesilia Kathleen Pastoral Care provides a number of services including but not limited to: Welcoming care recipients and families to our home. Supporting care recipients and families through the transition in consultation with them assessing their spiritual and emotional needs. Assisting care recipients to attend religious / spiritual activities. Providing one on one support with non judgmental empathetic listening and compassion. Sr Anne Ellen Visiting care recipients when in hospital. Arranging for visits from Ministers of religion for services and support.
