Alden and Maine instantly became a hit and AlDub became a worldwide phenomenon.

At the height of Kalyeserye, on Sept. 26, 2015, AlDub reached the highest tweets in Twitter for #ALDubEBforLOVE with 25.6 million tweets in just one day, breaking their own record of 12.1 million tweets within 24 hours for #ALDUBMostAwaitedDate on September 19.

Alden and Maine appeared in their first movie,My Bebe Love, and headlined their first film,, which grossed of P21.5 million on its first day. Recently, Alden teamed up with his best girl yet again in another movie that’ll soon be coming out late 2017, early 2018.

INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 PHOTO FROM SNOW CAPS/ VIDA NUTRISCIENCE INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 “We really prepared for the movie na ilalabas po namin this year. It’s really different from what we’ve previoiusly done,” he begins. “Hindi na siya rom-com. The movie involves a lot of action, kasi yun po yung napagisipan ng creatives and producers. It is an action -love story,” he explains. This new film – whose title has yet to be released - will showcase a new side to the seasoned actor, who actually started his career as a part-time commercial model. “It is a new challenge for us (Maine and I), kasi we’ve been used to rom- coms. We already did drama dun sa Destined to Be Yours. Now, ito yung isang side ng craft na hindi pa namin nae-explore together.” The new film, which was shot locally, will feature new surprises and will show audiences a new side to their Pambansang Bae.

In addition to revving up for premiere and doing their mall tours, Alden is also busy being a hands- on entrepreneur, managing his restaurant Concha’s Garden Cafe in Tagaytay, Cavite, which has become a favorite hotspot for weekend vacationers. Alden recently opened the second brand of Concha’s Garden Cafe in Tomas Morato Avenue in , bringing the same soulful Pinoy food to the metro.

INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 A multi-talented actor, singer and now successful entrepreneur, Alden shares that he’s excited for his new “role” as businessman and has more plans of exploring new endeavors. “I’m venturing more in doing other businesses as well and putting time and effortkung ano pa ‘yung mga puwede ko pang gawin aside from being a restaurateur.” “And what other businesses may these be? “ Inside Showbiz asks. “Bahala na si Lord,” he answers with a chuckle. “I really don’t put up a list of things that I want to have or achieve in my life kasi with expectation comes frustration. The less you expect, the less heartbroken you will be,” he says with wisdom. And with that, we wish the best of luck to our Pambansang Bae!

Gabbi is very grateful to be one of the Making MEGA cover girls. Being the only Kapuso star in the lineup is a source of pride for Gabbi. “The experience was fulfilling,” she says. “I learned a lot, and it was a very fun shoot. The whole team did a great job talaga.” What Gabbi cannot forget about the experience was when she first saw the iconic Eiffel Tower. “That was memorable,” she shares to Inside Showbiz Weekly. “It was very surreal that I cried! When I saw the Eiffel Tower, that’s when I felt the fulfillment. I wanted to hustle more after that because imagine, at 18 years old, I got to go to Paris because of work. It was a big deal for me.”

INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 Gabbi also admits that since 2017 began, she has been exploring a more solo career even if she has a love team with actor Ruru Madrid. “After Encantadia, a lot of solo opportunities have been cropping up, and of course I’d like to take those opportunities,” she says. “I feel like the jobs and opportunities don’t stop with a love team.” She clarifies that she and Ruru are still a love team and still appear together in Sunday PinaSaya. “It’s just really exploring and venturing into other branches of ourselves,” she says. “Right now I’m really happy with what I’m doing as Gabbi, the independent actress. I’m exploring talaga and I’m getting to know myself better.”

Gabbi is also part of this year’s MMFF for a comedy film alongside , JC Santos,Bae- by Baste, and Dawn Zulueta. “It’s my first time and it’s a different chapter,” she says. “This time you’ll see the more kwela side of Gabbi. INSIDE SHOWBIZ WEEKLY OCTOBER 2017 SINGING DREAM FULFILLED

One of Gabbi’s long-time dreams in showbiz has come true with the release of her first single, All I Need. She had been singing in gigs as a vocalist of a band before she got into acting. “Music is close to my heart and now I plan to take on my own path in the music industry,” says Gabbi. “Actually I’m self-producing my music now.” She has worked with the same producer behind the music of fellow R&B genre singers Claudia Barretto and Kiana Valenciano.

Gabbi is beyond grateful for having the chance to make her own music. She even had the chance to co-produce a single with Christian Bautista. The balladeer encouraged Gabbi to pursue music through a beautiful collaboration. With a lot on her plate, Gabbi still has more surprises as the year ends. We’re sure it only marks the beginning of greater things to come for the multi-talented cover girl, actress, and singer.
