General Hosting Tips

We’re excited to help you host a Tryazon party! Whether you’re an experienced host or giving this a try for the first time, we’re confident you can be successful and have a fun time showing off great products, while enjoying the time with your guests.

In an effort to help you, we’ve put together this guide and the following tips for you to review as you prepare for and carry out your party:

• Take time to learn about Spin Master. Read through Getting to Know Spin Master (pg.5). Experiment and play with the toys beforehand. Feel free to check out Bakugan’s YouTube and other social channels (pg. 7).

• Review Tryazon Great Host Tips to help you in successfully fulfilling the party requirements and thus be more likely to be chosen again for future opportunities.

• Invite a variety of people to your party! This is a great opportunity to

mingle with friends and family members. It’s also an outstanding way to get to know your neighbors.

• Make sure you have enough room where you demonstrate. If space is limited, consider having the event at a friend’s house who may have more space.

• You can make this party a creative affair by including fun decorations to match the party theme.

• Have all prep done before guests arrive. You want to greet all your guests without rushing around your home.

• If it helps you feel more comfortable, practice going through the entire party and planned demonstration by yourself or with family members. Use the Suggested Party Schedule in this guide to help you prepare and feel free to make modifications as desired.

• In this current COVID-19 environment, please take basic precautions to make sure those invited are healthy and not at high risk. Encourage your guests to wear masks and consider performing temperature checks upon arrival. If you have any concerns, please contact us at [email protected].

Getting to Know Spin Master

Spin Master was founded in 1994 by two childhood friends, Ronnen Harary and Anton Rabie, and were later joined by classmate Ben Varadi. Together, they produced and sold their first product, the Earth Buddy - a nylon stocking- covered head of sawdust topped with grass seeds which grew to emulate hair, funded with their own $10,000 investment. With Anton selling the item on the street and to specialty retailers, the operation quickly expanded to a small facility in downtown Toronto. This initial success served as the springboard for Spin Master's entry into the toy business.

Since 2000, Spin Master has received 103 TIA Toy of The Year (TOTY) nominations with 28 wins across a variety of product categories, including 13 TOTY nominations for Innovative Toy of the Year, more than any of its competitors. The company's continued investment and support of its entertainment division has also yielded meaningful results. To date, Spin Master has produced six television series, including 2007 success, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and current hit PAW Patrol, which is broadcast in over 160 countries and territories globally.

When Spin Master began to chart it's course in the children's entertainment industry, the founders recognized that in order to compete successfully with the established brands of larger companies, they had to design and market innovative products that would "wow" consumers and disrupt the traditional toy market. Suggested Party Schedule

Greet and Mingle

Mingle with guests as they arrive. You may want to consider having a few preliminary snacks or drinks set out for guests to have while they are waiting for things to start.

When everyone arrives, consider introducing each attendee to the group or having each go around and introduce themselves.

Introduction

• Introduce Tryazon

o You could mention that this is a Featured Party opportunity from Tryazon (pronounced Try-uh-zon ☺). There are 249 similar parties taking place this weekend within the US. Party Planning Checklist

Pre-Party Planning (1-2 weeks before party)  Decide on an exact date and time for your Bakugan Face Off Party (estimate 1-2 hours for demonstration and activities).

 Create a party invitation. Here are some websites you can use to send free invitations: www.evite.com, www.punchbowl.com, http://www.greetingsisland.com/invitations/party. Or you can create an event through Facebook https://www.facebook.com/help/ipad-app/210413455658361

 Send out party invitations about 1-2 weeks in advance and encourage guests to RSVP. o Include this video link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIpIYziuCHg) for your guests to watch as an introduction to Tryazon.

 Take time to learn about Spin Master. Read through Getting to Know Spin Master (pg.5). Experiment and play with the toys beforehand.

Week of Party  Consider everything you will need for your party including decorations (if desired). Put together a shopping list for anything needed that you do not have and pick up these items.

 Consider asking one or two select guests to be your party helpers and

coordinate your scheduling with them. Divvy out responsibilities as needed.

Day of Party  Set up your demonstration/presentation area along with enough seating for all of your guests.

 Prepare any other extra items you plan to have at your party (food items, drinks, plates, bowls, decorations, etc.)

 Print off hashtags from the following page to display at party so that guests can join in on the social posting also, using these!

 Be sure to place a laptop or tablet for video demonstrations.

 Make sure you have your camera ready to go so you can take fun pictures of the event! We encourage you to get pictures of your guests playing with the toys (not just group photos of holding up them up).

After the Party  Post about Spin Master and your party experience through your social media channels and blog (if you have one). o Checklist for social posts: ▪ Tags: @spinmaster and @tryazon ▪ Tell your followers a bit about your experience ▪ Pictures: clearly show off the products, guests and you interacting with the party pack items ▪ Hashtags: #tryazon, #Bakugan o See our success guide for examples of social media posts.
