John 16:7-11 - The first thing we noticed as we focused on the Paraclete sayings in the Gospel of John was a description of the person of the Holy Spirit. However, one cannot go far in this passage without realizing another splendid truth about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not in our world just to be something. He is here to do something. The Holy Spirit has an exciting, unique, essential ministry to carry out in our world today. · We know the Holy Spirit has a ministry to believers. The Holy Spirit also has a ministry to unbelievers. One scholar calls this work among unbelievers the Holy Spirit's "reproving work."
