n Wednesday, February 13, faculty and stu- dents participated in Sharsheret’s Pink Day O2019, to raise awareness about breast can- cer and cancer genetics. The day culminated with a school-wide picture to show our support for the im- portant work Sharsheret does and for those who are battling cancer. On Friday, February 15, Erev Shabbos, a Pink Day Challah Sale was held, where pink challah rolls were sold for Shabbos as another way to raise awareness. The tz’dakah fundraiser raised approximately $700. All proceeds from the Challah Sale will be donated to Sharsheret in memory of Mrs. Jen Hoch a”h. Special thanks to Student Life Assistant Maddie Hamada and students Hannah Reiss and Stephanie Hoch for organizing this very important and success- ful event.
