We will take reservations! -- email Vicki Hoyt at [email protected] Appraiser Biographies Phyllis O’Leary - Generalist ([email protected] 617-734-3967) Phyllis O’Leary has been in the antique business for 30 years, she previously was part owner of an antique store in Dover, and owned Antiques on Cambridge Street, Cambridge, Ma for 10 years. Phyllis went to Douglas Auctioneering School in Deerfield. Her auctions are in Needham, Mass. the week before Thanksgiving. She has taken courses in jewelry in Maine, R.I., and New York, oriental rugs in New York, furniture in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She lives in Brookline, MA, and she is married and has three grown sons. Larry Canale - Sports Memorabilia ([email protected]) Larry Canale is editor in chief of Antiques Roadshow Insider, a monthly full-color newsletter covering trends in the antiques and collectibles markets. He launched the publication for Connecticut-based Belvoir Media Group in 2001; Insider now serves more than 50,000 readers. Canale is also author of the book The Boys of Spring (Sport Classic Books, 2005), a collaborative effort with photography legend Ozzie Sweet. He’s also author of Tuff Stuff’s Baseball Memorabilia Guide (Krause Publications, 2001) and Mickey Mantle: The Yankee Years (Tuff Stuff Books, 1998). Before launching Antiques Roadshow Insider, Canale spent six years (1994-2000) working as editorial director of Tuff Stuff Publications in Richmond, Va., leading an editorial and design team that produced sports- and collectibles-related magazines, books, newsletters, and annuals as well as an Internet content. He continues to write a column, “Classic Collectibles,” every month for the company’s flagship title, Tuff Stuff, a guide to sports cards, autographs, and memorabilia. Prior to his Tuff Stuff position in Virginia, Canale spent eight years editing CD Review, a monthly music magazine. Canale’s work also has appeared in such magazines as Sports Collector’s Digest, Portland Monthly, Consumers’ Digest, and the children’s magazines Footsteps and Ask. He lives in Clinton, Mass., with his wife Lauren and daughters Quinlyn and Karsyn. Ronald L. Goodrich - Stamps, Coins, Photography, etc. (P.O. Goodrich is President of Northeast Collectibles, a firm offering appraisals, advice and ebay services to buyers and sellers of collectibles. He has over 50 years of experience in the field and is a life time member of the American Philatelic Society, a charter member of the National Stamp Dealer’s Association and a member of The Ephemera Society. He is a lecturer on Collectibles to various civic groups.
