DIERKS BENTLEY (FT. ELLE KING) Different For Girls Capitol Records Nashville (UMGN) Sunday Downtime Is Not CONTENTS Always A Good Thing — Charts Dear Readers; Our primary goal with CDX TRACtion continues to be to provide REAL airplay data that allows artists and labels to focus their marketing and promotion efforts on stations, cities and geographic areas where they are truly making an impact so that they can build upon that success. To that end, we monitor hundreds of radio stations that have never been monitored before. As you might imagine (because we all have a computer and a cell phone), there are many technical challenges (weather, stream outages, internet outages, hardware failures, etc.) involved with maintaining a system that monitors real airplay on hundreds of radio stations. And unfortunately, one of these challenges happened over the weekend. Our monitoring system was adversely affected by a series of unusual outages on one of the networks where we monitor and process streaming audio data. The PAGE 2-4 bottom line is that there were a significant number of missed detections during the outages. — Due to this hiccup, the week-to-week aggregate chart data is not fully comparable, so the week-over- week spin differentials could be interpreted incorrectly on many charting singles. This will also be Chart Breakouts the case next week, so we are publishing the chart for this week and next without the normal spin PAGE 5-6 differential (+/- spins) data. — CDX Traction continues to provide actionable airplay data on many market stations that have not been Currently On CDX monitored before. Please bear with us as we work through the technical issues to minimize monitoring PAGE 6 disruptions such as this in the future. — The CDX-TRACtion weekly newsletter is published on Wed. mornings by CDX, Inc. — Connecting Nashville’s music Stay tuned, industry and country radio for over 25 years.
