Over the next few slides we have shared some contact details for higher education institutions. A note about university entrance qualifications and contextual factors;
If you, or your child, is contacting universities to discuss entry qualifications, we suggest you mention LEAPS eligibility when making your enquiry. Some students will be eligible for a lower (minimum) offer on the basis on contextual factors. LEAPS eligibility sometimes, but not always, counts towards this, as do other factors – for example, school attended, postcode, or experience of care.
Universities may call this contextual admissions, adjusted offers or widening access and they all have further details on their websites. LEAPS offer individualised advice and guidance before students submit a UCAS application, so we can explore where students may be eligible for contextual offers.
