Gannett launches its first non- fungible token

USA TODAY NETWORK, part of Co. Inc., announced will auction its inaugural non-fungible token (NFT) inspired by the first newspaper delivered to space in 1971.

The auction will consist of a unique mosaic incorporating more than 300 images from 50 years of space coverage.

Wisconsin paper names new general manager

Jeff Robischon has been named general manager of the Ashland Daily Press in Wisconsin after a career spent in newspapers across the region and the country. Robischon also will be responsible for operations at the Price County Review and Northwood’s Shopper.

Foreign Editor Douglas Jehl, Deputy Foreign Editor Eva Rodriguez, Director of Global Live News Josh du Lac and London hub editor Sara Sorcher today announced the latest staff additions to ’s London news hub. Sacramento columnist Marcos Bretón named McClatchy’s new opinion editor

Marcos Bretón, who has been a columnist at The Sacramento Bee since 2007, was announced on Monday as McClatchy’s new California opinion editor. In his new role with McClatchy, Bretón will lead The Sacramento Bee Editorial Board and work closely with opinion editors in each of the company’s California markets.
