Biographical Note: The Dr. Madeline Davis LGBTQ Archive of Western New York was founded in 2001 to collect, safeguard, and provide access to archive and manuscript materials that document the , , bisexual, and communities of Western New York and Southern Ontario. These archives house records of more than fifty diverse organizations and the manuscript collections of many individuals who have had a significant impact on the history of the region. Some of the materials from the archives that have been digitized and made available online.
