Sylviane and I went to a movie and dinner in Montparnasse. They set up a press conference in one of the big rooms at the Kempinsky Hotel. Dur- ing the conference one of the journalists asked Marlon why he had dyed his hair blond, in fact Marlon wore a blonde dyed crew cut in his portrayal of a German soldier.
