February 26, 2021 Amazon warehouse workers in Bessemer, Alabama are voting to form a union with the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU). We are the writers of feature films and television series. All of our work is done under union contracts whether it appears on Amazon Prime, a different streaming service, or a television network. Unions protect workers with essential rights and benefits. Most importantly, a union gives employees a seat at the table to negotiate fair pay, scheduling and more workplace policies. Deadline Amazon accepts unions for entertainment workers, and we believe warehouse workers deserve the same respect in the workplace. We strongly urge all Amazon warehouse workers in Bessemer to VOTE UNION YES. • Washington Huskies Vs. Washington State Cougars: Will the Apple Cup Runneth Over?
Washington Huskies vs. Washington State Cougars: Will The Apple Cup Runneth Over? Author : Robert D. Cobb Despite living in the heart of Big 10 country, I have always been drawn to the Apple Cup rivalry game between PAC-12 in-state rivals Washington and Washington State. U-Dub vs Wazzu. Big-city Starbucks-drinking Seattle vs. out-of-the-way country bumpkin Pullman. The Apple Cup is more than just dogs vs. cats, as in Huskies vs. Cougars, but perhaps one of the most underrated rivalry games in the country. If you make not have heard of it before, you will become very familiar with it by the end of the afternoon, as this is THE Apple Cup rivalry game to end all. In terms of West Coast rivalry games, the Apple Cup lacks the glitz and glamour of USC vs. Notre Dame and UCLA, the elitist and liberal academia battle of intellectualism as Cal and Stanford, the pure and open hatred that is the “Civil War” in neighboring Oregon between Oregon and Oregon State, or the bitter and nasty grudge match in the Southwest known as the Territorial Cup between Arizona and Arizona State. In a series that started back in 1900 with a 5-5 tie, and that the Huskies have dominated in holding a 70-32-8 lead, including last season’s 45-10 rout in Seattle, can the Cougars return the favor this year in Pullman? With a trip to the Pac-12 title game on the line and in-state bragging rights from Walla Walla to Spokane on the line, sixth-ranked Washington rolls into Pullman on the heels of a 44-18 romp of Arizona State.

NOVITA PR NEOCON 2021 BROADER DESIGN PITCH Update May 12: We wanted to send along an update on our NeoCon pitch plan. We’ve had great calls with several NeoCon manufacturers to get their take and are also using them as a resource for supporting collateral. Overall, we’ve received a lot of great positive feedback and have developed relevant, timely angles. The manufacturers we’ve been speaking to have given us the most feedback and strongest insight into the workplace category. Because of this and given that “return to workplace” stories are getting a lot of traction right now, we’ve been focusing on our long-lead, broadcast pitches around that vertical and around the first pitch listed farther down below (“Employee Expectations Have Changed: How the $12.83 Billion Commercial Interiors Industry is Designing for Mental Health, Inclusivity and More). In addition, we’ve been monitoring recent stories around the subject and we’re directly responding to these. Below are the recent pitches. We will be pitching the other angles in the upcoming weeks, as well as print + digital, and are reaching out to gather more intel on the other verticals so we can properly target those. We can provide more updates as we go.
