Carolyn spent just over a week experiencing the New York Broadway scene, with rehearsals ranging from 4–5 hours on each of the three days, before a final performance in Manhattan. ‘The way they ran rehearsals, it was very professional; they wouldn’t explain things twice, so you had to listen closely,’ Carolyn said. ‘I learnt how to conduct myself in a professional environment and it was great to experience that.’ Year 8 students enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor As well as performing and rehearsing her own show, experiences last week at Camp Coolamatong. Carolyn also experienced four other shows to help grow her knowledge and love for the Broadway scene. ‘We were told, choose something you love and be professional in that field, which stuck with me,’ she explained.
