SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES 2019 ABOUT THE EVENT THE EVENT Each year, the Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation holds their annual charity event Graham Slam, to raise funds to improve children's mental health and wellness and support the development of junior golf across North America. This year, our aim is to raise $250,000 CHARITY Over $1.5 Million raised since 2013 for our charity partners. www.GrahamSlamEvent.com THE FOUNDATION In 2019, the Foundation will refocus its vision within the children’s health and wellness spectrum, to now include children's mental health & wellbeing. VISION Our vision is to foster an environment where children and families that are affected by emotional, behavioral, or mental illnesses are supported, not only in their home, but also in their workplaces, schools, and communities. Our aim is to help put an end to mental health stigmas through promoting open conversations, where children feel safe to discuss their struggles and feel supported. In addition, we hope to provide equal opportunity for junior golfers at all stages. We will strive to ensure that no golfer is held back due to lack of funds or resources. BENEFICIARIES A portion of the proceeds raised from Graham Slam 2019, will be allocated to two local beneficiaries, in support of their children’s mental health initiatives. IDAHO PARENTS UNLIMITED Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. (IPUL) is a statewide, parent-led nonprofit organization that houses the Idaho Parent Training and Information Center, the Family to Family Health Information Center, Idaho Family Voices, and VSA Idaho, the State Organization on Arts and Disability. Through these programs, IPUL ensures that parents of children with disabilities and special health care needs receive training, information, resources, and supports to help them achieve the greatest educational and health outcomes possible. Since 1985, IPUL has been assisting families whose children are age birth to adulthood with every possible diagnosis or condition in every possible way. IPUL’s programs fulfill a mission to educate, empower, support and advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families. IPUL envisions a fair and equal opportunity for all. IDAHO FEDERATION OF FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH Idaho Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health empowers youth with mental health challenges, and their families, to become successful advocates for their mental health needs. We offer youth safe environments in which to give and receive peer support, develop life and leadership skills and learn self and community advocacy skills. We bring youth and parent voice to what is working and not working in the system of mental health care and to other state systems serving youth. We are a family-run organization relying on our community to support us as we improve mental health access and services for all Idaho youth and families. Max earned his PGA Tour card for the 2014-15 season and since then has been a breakout player with 4 top 10 finishes. Joel also played on the Latinoamerica PGA Tour, where he finished top 2 in two of the three events he participated in. Ricky earned himself Pac-10 freshman of the year and went on to secure his spot on multiple All-American teams.. Ricky also has 18 top ten finishes over his career. Julien then went on to star in the Golf Channel's reality show Big Break, where he was the runner up. Julien has been Graham’s caddy and friend since 2012, accompanying him to many tournaments, including the Presidents Cup and the Masters. Colt turned pro in 2007, after he was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for five weeks in a row. Since turning pro, Colt has secured 9 top ten finishes on the PGA Tour. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: ● The PLAYERS Championship 2016: T3 finish ● RBC Heritage 2012: 3 finish ● Barracuda Championship 2016: T3 finish BROCK MACKENZIE OVERVIEW: From Coos Bay, Oregan, Brock’s golf career started off at the University of Washington where he became the most decorated golfer in history at WU. Brock turned pro in 2004 and since then has 2 top ten finishes on the PGA Tour circuit as well as an international win. After turning pro in 2002, John joined the Nationwide Tour in 2005, and then went on to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2007 season, where he was the runner up rookie of the year and has had 17 top ten finishes. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: ● Rust-Oleum Championship 2016: T2 finish ● Brasil Champions 2015: T2 finish ● Albertsons Boise Open 2014: 2nd finish ADAM HADWIN OVERVIEW: From Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Adam studied and was a member of the golf team at the University of Louisville. Adam turned pro in 2009 and played on the Web.com tour until breaking into the PGA Tour in 2015.
