I. Streymoy and Pertti Frandsen Our G634 stamp was chosen as the 2018 Greenlandic Stamp of the Year. A total of 3,120 stamp collectors from all over the world voted for their favourite among the 24 stamps that were issued by POST Greenland in 2018. The 2018 Greenland Stamp of the Year was issued on 25th May last year and featured a panoramic photograph taken by Erwin Reinthaler. The Winning Stamp: G634. This Austrian photographer, artist, ski instructor and teacher is new to the world of stamps. Despite that, he has previously produced works of art and published a book about Greenland. The winner of the DKK 10,000 main prize was Lillian Køhler from Denmark. Lillian has been collecting Greenlandic stamps for a long time and has participated many times before in this annual vote to select the Greenlandic Stamp of the Year. POST Greenland congratulates Lillian on winning the first prize, which she has already received.
