‘NORTHPOLE: OPEN FOR CHRISTMAS’ CAST BIOS LORI LOUGHLIN (Mackenzie) – Best recognized for her role as Rebecca Donaldson on the long-running hit comedy series “Full House,” Lori Loughlin added another iconic series to her resume: The CW’s “90210.” In it, she played the mother of two teenagers who struggle with their family’s move from the normalcy of Kansas to the fast lane of Beverly Hills. Loughlin’s film projects include the 2009 comedy feature “Old Dogs,” in which she starred opposite Robin Williams and John Travolta, playing the latter’s love interest. Another of Loughlin’s recent feature films was “Moondance Alexander,” in which she portrayed an eccentric mother whose daughter finds a pony and is determined to win the Bow Valley Classic. Loughlin currently stars in the hit Hallmark Channel Original Primetime Series, “When Calls the Heart” and has starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “Meet My Mom” and “Garage Sale Mystery: All That Glitters.” Born and raised in Hauppauge, Long Island, Loughlin got her start in show business at a young age. She was cast in the daytime drama “The Edge of Night,” for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Young Actress in a Daytime Series. In 1985, Loughlin was cast in the feature film “Secret Admirer,” a romantic comedy co-starring C. Thomas Howell and Kelly Preston. She also starred in “Critical Mass,” opposite Treat Williams, the beach movie spoof “Back to the Beach,” the BMX racing film “Rad” and in “Amityville 3-D,” the third installment of the “Amityville” horror franchise. In addition to “Full House,” Loughlin was a regular on “Hudson Street,” a comedy starring Tony Danza. She was also the star and producer of The WB’s family drama “Summerland.” Other television roles have included the after-school special “No Means No,” for which she received an Emmy® nomination for Best Actress, the TV movie “Doing Time on Maple Drive,” alongside Jim Carrey, and “In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory.” She has made repeat appearances on a number of series, including “The Drew Carey Show” and “Spin City” and has guest-starred on television hits such as “Seinfeld,” “Suddenly Susan,” “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Birds of Prey.” Loughlin resides in Los Angeles with her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, and their three children. ### DERMOT MULRONEY (Jack) - Since being discovered at Northwestern University by a Hollywood talent agent 28 years ago, Dermot Mulroney has been seen in over 65 films, including “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “Family Stone,” “The Grey,” “About Schmidt,” “Young Guns” and “The Wedding Date.” He most recently appeared alongside Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts as Steve Huberbrecht in John Wells’ adaptation of Tracy Letts’ award winning “August: (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL / ‘NORTHPOLE: OPEN FOR CHRISTMAS’ – Cast Bios – Page 2 Osage County,” for The Weinstein Company, and is currently starring for the first time as a series regular on NBC’s “Crisis,” playing Francis Gibson, a loving father with a diabolical mind. In 2013, Mulroney’s film and television appearances included Chan Wook Park’s “Stoker,” “The Rambler” and “Jobs,” in which he portrayed Apple’s first financier, Mike Markkula, opposite Ashton Kutcher’s Steve Jobs. He also appeared in the second season of HBO’s hit “Enlightened,” with Laura Dern and Mike White, and in Chris Colfer’s “Struck by Lightning.” In 2012, he was seen in “Big Miracle” as well as in the critically lauded “The Grey.” Television viewers saw Mulroney as Zooey Deschanel’s love interest on Fox’s “New Girl” and some caught his brief gag with Jamie Foxx on “Saturday Night Live.” Some of Mulroney’s more memorable film credits include: Clint Eastwood’s “J Edgar,” in which he played Colonel Schwarzcopf to Leonardo DiCaprio’s J Edgar Hoover, Baltasar Kormukur’s “Inhale,” David Fincher’s “Zodiac,” David Gordon Green’s “Undertow,” Alexander Payne’s “About Schmidt,” with Jack Nicholson, “Flash of Genius,” with Greg Kinnear, “The Family Stone,” with Diane Keaton, “Georgia Rule,” with Jane Fonda, “The Wedding Date,” with Debra Messing, and “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” opposite Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. Mulroney has also been seen in “Where The Money Is,” opposite Paul Newman, Robert Altman’s “Kansas City,” alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh, “Copycat,” opposite Holly Hunter and Sigourney Weaver, Tom DiCillo’s “Living in Oblivion,” “Young Guns” and “Point of No Return,” opposite Bridget Fonda. Mulroney’s first feature film, Blake Edwards’ “Sunset,” starring James Garner and Bruce Willis, was filmed in 1986. In addition to his impressive acting career, Mulroney is a classically trained cellist who began playing when he was 7 years old. She also played the young Betty Ann Waters in Fox Searchlight’s “Conviction,” starring Hilary Swank and Minnie Driver. Other films include “Letters to God” and the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “A Taste of Romance,” with Teri Polo, “Smart Cookies,” with Patricia Richardson, and “Pete’s Christmas,” starring Bruce Dern.
