CARRIED ADOPTION OF MINUTES: 1) Minutes of the Regular Meeting July 9, 2019 19-0902 Moved by Councillor Anderson; Seconded by Councillor Juras; BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes from the Regular Meeting of Council, held on July 9, 2019 are adopted as circulated. CARRIED 1 person arrived at 7:06 p.m. PETITIONS AND DELEGATIONS: PUBLIC QUESTION AND COMMENT PERIOD: Regular Council Minutes Tuesday, September 10, 2019 BYLAWS & PUBLIC HEARING REPORTS: 1) Generation Homes 19-0903 Moved by Councillor Anderson; Seconded by Councillor Juras BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Residential Infill Permit Development DP 19.20 application as submitted by Generation Homes; AND THAT Official Community Plan Bylaw amendment 1554, 2019 and Zoning Bylaw amendment 1555, 2019 be adopted; AND THAT Residential Infill Permit Development DP 19.20 Generation Homes be approved subject to the following: • Closure of access from 5A Street to 10th Avenue; • Approval of Storm Water Management Plan by the District’s Engineers; and • Execution of a Development Servicing Agreement. CARRIED 2 people left at 7:15 p.m. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: REPORTS REQUIRING ACTION: 1) Financial Statements for the period ended June 30, 2019 19-0904 Moved by Councillor Juras; Seconded by Councillor Becker; BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Financial Statements for the period ended June 30, 2019 be received as presented. CARRIED 2) District of Invermere Facility Policy Amendment 19-0905 Moved by Councillor Anderson; Seconded by Councillor Juras; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve the amended Community Facility and Park Space Booking Policy 2005-02. CARRIED REPORTS FOR INFORMATION: 1) July Bylaw Report 2) August Bylaw Report 3) August Long Weekend Report 4) August Dog Report Regular Council Minutes Tuesday, September 10, 2019 CORRESPONDENCE REQUIRING ACTION: 1) Groundswell Network Society A request for their Fee-for-Service funds to be released early. 19-0906 Moved by Councillor Anderson; Seconded by Councillor Juras; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council release the remainder of the Groundswell Network Society's Fee for Service funds in the amount of $3,500. CARRIED 2) Rite to Ride Request for funding to publish a magazine. 19-0907 Moved by Councillor Taft; Seconded by Councillor Becker; BE IT RESOLVED THAT staff refer Rite to Ride to apply for the Local Government Assistance Program as well as the Columbia Valley Foundation for any funding requests.
