Hotels roll out exciting family packages to mark the joyous occasion In a reflection of the strong relations between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, and the people of both countries, Dubai is gearing up to host an array of events, experiences and promotions to celebrate the National Day of the State of Kuwait, which falls on 25 February. The line-up of events that will mark the National Day of Kuwait will offer families and visitors the opportunity to enjoy festive experiences including a concert featuring Miami Kuwaiti Band, a fireworks display, performances from traditional bands, family-oriented activities at malls and activations at landmarks including Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame. Hotels in Dubai have also announced family packages and promotions in celebration of the National Day of Kuwait. Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said, “As Dubai sets to celebrate the National Day of Kuwait with great enthusiasm, the annual festivities speak volumes of the strong relations between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, firmly bound by the same values and cultural backgrounds that we share. As we join the people of Kuwait in celebrating this joyous occasion, Kuwaiti visitors will not only be able to enjoy some of the best destination experiences and offers, but will also have the opportunity to extend their stay and be part of another great celebration – the Dubai Food Festival, which commences on 26 February.” The line-up of activities to celebrate National Day of Kuwait in Dubai: MIAMI BAND LIVE IN CONCERT 21 February, main cultural stage, Global Village Catch the renowned Miami Band from Kuwait in action at Global Village, the popular multicultural festival park. The ‘Miami Band Live in Concert’ will start at 9:00pm, as the group of highly talented musicians will sing some of the hits that catapulted them to stardom. The concert is included within Global Village’s entry ticket of AED 15, and there will be a dedicated area for women and children. CELEBRATIONS AT MALLS Dubai Festival City Mall 25 February – 25 March 2020 In celebration of Kuwait National Day, Dubai Festival City Mall will be hosting a special edition of their award-winning IMAGINE show on 25 February, followed by a dazzling display of fireworks. Kuwaiti nationals can also enjoy special offers at the mall from 25 February until 25 March. During this period, shoppers can take advantage of “buy one get one free” offers at Haagen Daz, Zen Diamond and Optivision while Atasay will be offering a 30 per cent discount on diamonds, and Chic and Tamaris stores will be offering 20 per cent off on purchases. Amira and Sacoor Brothers will be offering 10 per cent discounts while you can avail of a 15 per cent discount on services worth over AED100 at the Barber Room and Flairs.
