Abbreviations are used as follows:- Posn position in the ranking list achieved in the div• ision in which the paddler was placed at the end of the season Pts points gained last season % percentage achieved at the end of the season Y Youth paddler in 1983 J Junior paddler in 1983 M Mixed C2 crew L Female paddler in Canadian class S 'short season' paddler in division concerned last season and not subject to demotion in 1983 Bib Number of bib to be worn in 1984 in Division Concerned (see notes about obtaining bibs) Any paddlers previously ranked who did not compete last year are omitted from the ranking lists and do not appear. Those wishing to compete should apply to the Ranking Stat• us Officer - R.
