TV Land's Newest , "," (Working Title) Begins Production on First Season

TV Land announced today that production starts this week on the network's new original sitcom, "The Exes" (working title). The series, which is written by Mark Reisman (""), will debut on TV Land on Wednesday, November 30 at 10:30 pm ET/PT immediately following the season three premiere of "Hot in Cleveland." The program stars critically-acclaimed actors Donald Faison ("Scrubs"), Wayne Knight ("," "Hot in Cleveland"), David Alan Basche ("The Starter Wife"), Kelly Stables ("Two and a Half Men") and Emmy® Award-winner Kristen Johnston ("").

In TV Land's latest sitcom, divorce attorney Holly (Johnston) introduces her newly-single client Stuart (Basche) to his new roommates - ladies' man Phil (Faison) and homebody Haskell (Knight), who share an apartment which Holly owns. Things start off a little shaky when the two bachelors have reservations about living with clingy Stuart, but Holly is right across the hall to help them avoid any catastrophes. To top it all off, Holly's assistant, Eden (Stables), doesn't exactly let her professionalism get in the way of prying into her boss's personal life.

The show is executive produced by Reisman, along with Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis ("Reba," "Titus"), and Franco Bario is co-executive producer. Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox will serve as executive producers for TV Land.

The addition of "The Exes" to TV Land's original sitcom roster takes the network to a total of four scripted comedy series with several more in development. The network recently announced that it has picked up Fran Drescher's "" for a second season with 12 new episodes slated to air in Spring 2012. TV Land's other hit , "Hot in Cleveland" and "," have also been picked up for additional seasons.
