Bédard Natural Resources Canada, Québec In January 2005, I participated in an Antarctic field mapping workshop with a group of researchers under the leadership of Bruce Marsh (Johns Hopkins University), who had obtained a generous grant from the National Science Foundation (Office of Polar Programs, Geology and Geophysics) covering all field and travel expenses.
