TAX RELIEF FOR MISSOURI SENIORS AND DISABLED The Missouri Property Tax Credit allows a credit to certain senior citizens and 100% disabled individuals based on total household income (taxable and nontaxable) and the amount of property taxes or rent paid. The credit is for a maximum of $750 for renters and $1,100 for those who own and occupy a home.

To be eligible a person must be: The maximum income level to qualify: • 65 years of age or older, OWNED AND OCCUPIED HOME FOR ENTIRE YEAR • 60 years of age or older Single - $30,000 and receiving Social Security Married fi ling jointly - $34,000 surviving spouse benefi ts, or RENTERS/PART YEAR OWNERS Single - $27,500 • 100% disabled Married fi ling jointly - $29,500
