As a result of a subsequent re-arrangement the description of these MSS. in Brit. Mus. Quart., viii, 1933-1934, pp. 100-102, is no longer correct. Most of the letters from Cobden to his correspondents are the originals; included also are copies (some by Mrs E. J. C. Cobden Unwin, and others typewritten) of documents selected from archives elsewhere. For other Cobden Papers see Add. MSS. 43807, 43808, 50131, 50748-50751. Thirty-two volumes.
