UTAHVALLEYWOLVERINES 9 UVU All-Time vs. ABOUT UVU ATHLETICS’ NCAA HISTORY Westminster 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference 0-2 Until 2003, Utah Valley University competed as a NJCAA BYU 1-4 America East Conference 3-4 athletic program. The 2003-04 season was the school’s first competing at an NCAA Division I level. In 2004-05, Saint Mary’s 0-2 Atlantic Sun Conference 0-1 UVU played it first full Division I schedule. As a program transitioning from junior college to DI, UVU was termed Utah State 0-13 Big East Conference 0-2 “provisional” and remained that way until 2009. UVU’S provisional status was lifted and the program became a full Hartford 1-0 Big Sky Conference 24-26 member of NCAA Division I on July 8, 2009. Until then, UVU teams and individuals were not eligible to compete in NCAA Long Beach State 1-0 Big South Conference 0-2 championship events. North Dakota 5-3 Big 10 Conference 0-1 The Wolverines spent six seasons as an independent before the Great West Conference became an all-sports league Western Colorado 1-0 Big 12 Conference 0-2 in 2008 and began its first full season in 2009.
