Hey, Tiger Cubs! It’s Mrs. Haney, and I’m here at the Sedgwick County . Do you want to go on a Virtual Field Trip to see lots of animals?

Zoo Virtual field trip Directions: This is an interactive file that will allow you to click between different pages, and there are also links to click out to Safe YouTube videos. Everything you need will be on the map on the next page. Here’s how it works… Click on a video icon to be taken to an SCZ Live video from that part of the zoo! If you get a box that pops up, click “Allow”. The videos let you see the animals up close and learn about them along the way! Then, click the back button in your web browser to come back to the map to see more! You can also right click and “open link in new tab/window” and that way your map will still be open too. You can also click on any animal on the map to see amazing pictures of animals at the zoo! They even include fun facts about those animals! At any time on this virtual field trip you can click on the map to navigate somewhere else. You can also click on the sign icon to navigate to different animals and facts too! LIONS!!! Did you know rest for about 20 hours a day? Also, you can tell lions MEERKATS apart by the spots ARE NEXT! at the base of their : LAUREN BORING whiskers. Fun Fact: Meerkats sometimes live in groups of up to 50 members! Also, they are not a cat, they belong to the mongoose family.

GOATS! NEXT UP… CAMELS Fun Fact: Baby goats are called kids. Did you know that a camel’s eye has 3 eyelids, it chews in a figure 8 motion, and it can drink 500 cups of water in LAST STOP… FLAMINGOES ten minutes? Did you know that flamingoes are really good at swimming and flying even though a lot of the time you see them just standing?

Also, they turn their famous color because of the pigments in their food!
