Day 02: (BD): SYDNEY AND “ANNIE” – Wednesday 07 March, 2012 Today, we take in some of the sights of this great city. We make our way to the harbour foreshore and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair . The chair was carved out of the sandstone by convicts for Governor Lachlan Macquarie’s wife in order for her to watch the activity on the harbour and await the arrival of Ships from England. The point provides us with wonderful views of the , Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison . We continue our sightseeing as we travel through exclusive Double Bay to Vaucluse and then Watson Bay and the ‘Gap’ on the southern side of the Sydney Harbour Heads. From here, we visit the famous Bondi Beach and have time to take a stroll along the promenade and a chance to pick up lunch before our matinee performance. We arrive at the Lyric Theatre for the timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie , giving us the chance to experience this classic musical about never giving up hope. Boasting one of Broadway's most memorable scores, including It’s the Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, N.Y.C. and the ever- optimistic Tomorrow, Annie is one of the most awarded and loved musicals of all time. Reprising one of his all time favourite roles as the charismatic New York “zillionaire” Daddy Warbucks, is Anthony Warlow. He will be joined by the ever popular Nancye Hayes playing everyone’s favourite villain Miss Hannigan. Todd McKenney, Chloe Dallimore and Julie Goodwin also bring their talents to this delightful musical. I’m sure we will be singing all the way back to our accommodation this afternoon! The rest of the afternoon is free to do as we wish. We will have dinner at the hotel this evening. (Breakfast and Dinner in the hotel, Lunch own arrangements/cost)

Day 03 (BD): BLUE MOUNTAINS – Thursday 08 March, 2012 The Blue Mountains are a spectacular part of Australia’s heritage. The National Park conserves some 218,000 hectares of rugged beauty with a variety of terrain, a diversity of microclimates and vast ecological wealth. Our first stop this morning is in the pretty village of Leura – a name which is aboriginal for "lava". It was given to the village because of the area's wealth of volcanic stones. It is the rich volcanic soil that's responsible for Leura's international reputation of possessing some of the nation's most beautiful gardens and tree-lined streets. We enjoy morning tea at Bygone Beautys . This is the largest private emporium of Antiques and collectables in the Blue Mountains. A trove for treasure hunters and all who love a living touch of history. Take a trip down memory lane as we browse around rooms filled with jewellery, furniture, fine china, dinner services, dolls and toys. Everywhere we look we will see an array of teapots, old and new, rare or common, the selection is astounding. From Leura, we take the scenic Cliff Drive to Echo Point and the Three Sisters at Katoomba where we stop for a photo opportunity. Near here is Scenic World where we take a ride on the Scenic Railway , the world's steepest incline railway. We descend 415m down the escarpment at a gradient of 52 degrees and travel through the tunnel and ancient rainforest. When we disembark, we take the 300m rainforest boardwalk to connect with the Flyway platform. The Scenic Flyway is the steepest aerial cable car in Australia. It will take us on a 545 metre ride up through the World Heritage Listed rainforest of the Jamison Valley. Finally we board the brand new Scenic Skyway to take the 720 metre journey 270m above ancient ravines and dazzling waterfalls. This ride boasts a world first, state of the art Electro-Sceni Glass Floor. At the flip of a switch breath taking views are revealed through the cabin floor directly below. The 360 degree birdseye view takes in the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Mount Solitary and the never ending expanse of the Jamison Valley. Wow! When we alight, our coach captain will be waiting for us to take us back to Sydney. (Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel, Lunch own expense)

Day 04 (B): SYDNEY TO ADELAIDE – Friday 09 March, 2012 This morning we pack our bags and complete our check-out procedures. Our local coach will transfer us back to Sydney Airport to connect with our flight back to Adelaide. From the airport, we will be met by our transfer vehicle seeing us arrive home safely, having enjoyed a fantastic 4 day tour that we’ll remember fondly! (Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch own expense)
