Financing * will be through the sale of revenue bonds. Half of these bonds will be purchased by the Housing and Home Finance Agency of the Community Facilities Administration and half will be sold by the University on the open market. The project, to be known as University Park, will be located in the Dowdell barracks area on the east side of campus, east of the Illinois Central Railroad tracks. It will consist of three parts to house 1,800 unmarried students. First part will be a 17­story residence hall for 800 women, probably the tallest building in southern Illinois south of Springfield. It will be known as Park Tower. Park Tower will have a library and counselor apartments on the ground floor, laundry and other facilities in the basement, Sketch of 17-story Park Tower in University Park and on each floor double rooms with a bath for every four stu­ dents.
