Spectator Dogs are now welcome, at a fee of £5.00 per dog, payable at the gate. **IMPORTANT NOTE — EXHIBITORS PASS SYSTEM** For On-line entries only You will receive your Exhibitors Passes at the appropriate time through your personal on-line account - **Not through the post** Approximately 2 weeks before the show you will be informed by email that your Exhibitors Passes are in your account + by SMS text to your mobile phone if you wish. Take these steps: Login to your account and choose the option ‘My Account History’ there you will see with your Show Entry record a line saying Download your Exhibitors Pass - click this link and your Exhibitors Pass will appear - print it - take it to the show. There may also be a Show Information Leafl et - print this. JUNIOR HANDLING Competitions are held for Junior Handling on all three days of the Show. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN AT THE SHOW but must be made on the enclosed Entry Form, including, the name and age of the Junior Handler (write class number next to dog). DOGS MUST HAVE ALREADY BEEN ENTERED IN ANOTHER CLASS AT THIS SHOW. Rosettes will be available for the winners, who will be eligible to take part in the semi-finals of the competition held at the following Group Championship Shows: BUBA, UK Toydog, National Terrier, National Working & Pastoral Breeds, Hound Association & National Gundog. The winners from each class qualify for the finals at Discover Dogs in October 2017. Entry fee: £5.00 per class. Classes for 6 - 11 years and 12 - 16 years The Judge will be Mr C Stokes YOUNG KENNEL CLUB MEMBERS’ HANDLING CLASSES Only dogs of six (6) calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for entry into a YKC qualifying class. The FIRST placed handler only in each age group at the qualifying show will qualify for Crufts. A rosette is awarded to the first place winner. Handling qualfiers run from the 1st January to the 31st December for the following year’s Crufts. If a member is disqualified, the qualification does not roll down to the next placing. Classes for handling are decided by the handler’s age. The classes are divided into three age groups: 6-11 years (6 years and up to, but not including 12th birthday). 12-16 years (12 years and up to, but not including 17th birthday). 17-24 years (17 years and up to, but not including 25th birthday). In order to enter any YKC competition, you must be a fully paid up member at the time of entry and competition.

The Kerry Blue Terrier was recognized by the United Kennel Club in 1948. GENERAL APPEARANCE The Kerry Blue Terrier is a compact, muscular, medium- sized terrier with moderately long legs. The breed takes its name from its wavy, blue coat. The preferred ratio of length of body (prosternum to point of buttocks) to height (withers to ground) to is 10:9. The head is long, but not exaggerated, with small, V-shaped, button ears. The tail is set on high, carried erect, and docked to a moderate length. Serious Fault: A low slung Kerry lacks breed type.
