Lehigh looks to stop a two-game slide as the Mountain Hawks return to Stabler Arena to host the Navy Midshipmen. Last time out, Marquis Hall led four Lehigh players in double figures but it wasn’t enough as American held off the visitors for an eight-point win at Bender Arena - giving the Eagles their first regular season sweep over Lehigh since 2002. More importantly, the win lifted American into sole possession of first place. Meanwhile, Navy enters tonight’s contest fresh off a 78-72 home win over Bucknell on Saturday. It was the Mids’ first win over the Bison in eight tries. Kaleo Kina scored a career-best 27 points in the win, and Greg Sprink added 22 for Navy.

NO. 15 TAKES THE FIFTH
TONIGHT’S GAME
Lehigh freshman guard Rob Keefer (North Wales, Pa.) was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season on Monday, after scoring 16 points on
Tonight marks the 57th all-time meeting between Lehigh and Navy. The Mids lead the series, 40 to 16 in on-court results. Navy has won two in a row in the series after snapping the Brown and White’s three-game win streak.
6-of-11 shooting while dishing out three assists at American on Sunday. Keefer’s fifth honor this season marks the most Rookie of the Week awards handed down to a Lehigh player since ... Marquis Hall ‘10 (Portland, Ore.) garnered Rookie of the Week recognition nine times in 2007. Hall later became Lehigh’s first ever Patriot League Rookie of the Year.
FOUR CAN SCORE
Paced by 20 points from Marquis Hall, four Lehigh players hit for double figures in the game at American (Feb. 9). Sunday’s output marked just the second time this season that Lehigh has placed four players in double figures in the scoring column (at Cornell, Nov. 10). Lehigh is 0-2 this season when four Mountain Hawks finish in double figures.
LAST TIME OUT
WASHINGTON, D.C. – After being down 18 points with 4:15 remaining, Lehigh staged a furious comeback and got to within six in the closing minutes, but the Mountain Hawks ultimately fell to American 82-74 on Sunday afternoon at Bender Arena. Four Mountain Hawks hit for double figures, led by Marquis Hall’s 20, while Brian Gilmore scored a career- and game-high 26 for the Eagles, who moved into sole possession of fi r st place in the league standings. The Mountain Hawks jumped out to an early 8-2 lead, but from there Garrison Carr took over, hitting his first seven shots, all which were heavily contested by Lehigh defenders. He finished with 22 points in the AU win.
HOLDING ONTO THE BALL...BUT NOT NECESSARILY THE “W”
Lehigh committed just eight turnovers against American (Feb. 9), matching their seasonlow (at Columbia, Jan. 2). The Mountain Hawks are 1-3 this season in games in which they commit fewer than ten turnovers.
AN INAUSPICIOUS RE-START
Sunday’s loss at American marked the fi r st time since 2002 that Lehigh dropped the first
game of the second half of the Patriot League season. That season, Lehigh dropped the fi r st six contests in the league second half en route to a 2-12 Patriot League mark.
ORDER HIM A DOUBLE
With yet another double-double at Bucknell on Jan. 30 (13 points, 11 rebounds), senior captain Bryan White raised his season total to five, and his career total to seven. White, who leads the Patriot League in rebounding (8.4 pg), is averaging 9.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals per game during league play. He has four games of ten or more rebounds in that time and three double-doubles.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Jan. 16) – In a game that featured 11 lead changes and seven ties, Lehigh came up on the short end of a 79-69 score versus Navy at Alumni Hall. Sophomore Marquis Hall scored 20 points but it wasn’t enough as three Mids hit for double figures led by senior Greg Sprink’s 26 points. Joining Hall in double digits for Lehigh was classmate Zahir Carrington with 14 points, freshman Rob Keefer with 11 and senior Bryan White with 10. White also pulled down 11 rebounds for his fifth career double-double. Lehigh shot 43 percent from the field, but committed an uncharacteristic 19 turnovers, while Navy connected on 11 three-pointers.
SCOUTING THE MIDSHIPMEN...
Head coach Billy Lange (Rowan ‘94) is in his fourth season at the helm of the Navy program. He is 2-1 at Stabler Arena, with wins in 2005 and 2007 ... Greg Sprink currently leads the Patriot League in scoring (21.2 points per game) and ranks second in rebounding behind Lehigh’s Bryan White with 6.0 boards per game ... Lehigh and Navy took on just one common opponent throughout the non-league portion of their schedules (NJIT) ... the Mids are averaging almost 17 turnovers per contest, but are forcing over 19 per game from their opponents ... Navy has scored 70 or more points 18 times this season in 23 games played ... Navy has won two of three here at Stabler Arena, including a 70-65 win last season.

HOME, SWEET STABLER
HALFWAY THERE
Since the start of the 2002-03 season, Lehigh has been nothing short of dominant at home. Here is a look at the Mountain Hawks success at Stabler Arena during that time.
Since the start of the 2004-05 season, Lehigh is 43-12 when leading at halftime. On the flip side, the Mountain Hawks are only 10-42 when trailing at intermission.
Overall Record: 59-18 (.766%) Non-League Record: 31-8 (.795%) League Record: 28-10 (.737%) Longest Winning Streak: 16 games (11/25/03 - 12/6/04)
IS ONE ENOUGH?
It was versus NJIT as Lehigh was able to defeat the Highlanders despite only one player, Marquis Hall, scoring in double fi g ures. It marked the first time the Mountain Hawks had a single player score double figure points and win since February 11, 2006. That day Lehigh downed Army 69-44 in West Point led by Joe Knight’s 16 points.

DOING (EXTRA) TIME
Lehigh’s double overtime affair with Quinnipiac marked the fi r st time the Brown and White needed two overtimes to determine a winner at home since 1997 when the Mountain Hawks and archrival Lafayette played an extra ten minutes. The Leopards won that game 90-87. Lehigh has not won a double overtime game since 1989 when the Brown and White downed Drexel 94-92.
