(BHSEC students are ‘in the family’, so the move from EC campus to Annandale campus should be less jarring than a move to a non-Bard campus.) We sought to accomplish this by providing intentional advising before students arrive on campus and having them register for classes with current students (At least) Three Advising Sessions A general advising session about life at the college, general arc of studies- this happens with a member of the dean of studies office A second, more specific advising session about program planning, gen-ed and program requirements, etc.- this also happens with a member of dean of studies office. A third, still more specific advising session about the student’s intended program of study and about course selection for the fall- this happens with a faculty member in the student’s intended program of study Preferred Admissions Questions?
