REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

To Whom It May Concern:

The Muckleshoot Indian Casino Is seeking a proposal from a Public Relations agency to handle its public relations needs. The Casino is interested in establishing and broadening our position as a leading destination for fun, tourism and gaming. Statements of qualification, experience and reference will be required along with proposal.

Muckleshoot Casino is located in 30 minutes from Seattle Washington in the city of Auburn and is owned and operated by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. We offer more than 3,100 video gaming machines, the largest selection under one roof in the state. We also feature the largest smoke-free gaming facility in Washington State. We feature 10 different dining options as well as live entertainment in our premier venue Club Galaxy. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary in April 2018, Muckleshoot Casino is a leader in the Washington State gaming community.

Accomplishments include:  Becoming the first casino in the state to offer video gaming machines (1999).  Securing a place in the Guinness book of World Records as the home of the World’s Largest Slot Tournament (2016).  Becoming the first U.S. casino to offer a virtual reality gaming experience on a regular basis (2016).

Your proposal should identify how you would:

1. Assist in defining and execution of local, regional and national PR strategy to include the promotion of the Muckleshoot Casino as an industry leader and must- visit destination in the Pacific Northwest.

2. Achieve brand awareness through variety of communication methods including print, radio, television, web and social media.

3. Identify and secure strategic speaking engagements and interview opportunities establishing key executives as industry leaders.

4. Develop performance measures linked to key objectives as well as providing monthly analytic assessment/value of achievements, campaigns and/or exposure.

5. Clip all secured brand coverage.

6. Write and distribute press materials, as needed, to include releases, alerts, pitch letters and advertorials.

7. Assist in the ideation and execution of press events, as needed.

Target Audience: The current audience skews female and focuses on households who enjoy travel, gambling and entertainment on a regular basis. The age demographic is largely over 35 however, it can skew younger at times.

Please identify the demographics of your suggested audience to include core segments, special interests and geographic area.

Additional deliverables:  We would be interested in a separate proposal and quote for the services of crisis Planning & Management primarily focus on a thoughtful plan of action for unexpected, large-scale events.

 The RFP calendar is subject to change based on RFP participation, and timelines may move up if items are completed early.

 Responses to this RFP must be received no later than 3 PM, November 30, 2017 to the attention of Marie Reid, Purchasing Manager, Muckleshoot Indian Casino.

 Specify your proposed contract term, with billing schedule, the term at this time is a maximum of one (1) year.

The chosen company will be required to comply with the following:

 Be an approved vendor with Muckleshoot Indian Casino.

 Acquire a Muckleshoot Tribal Gaming Commission license and maintain it for the term of the agreement.

 Sign and agree to the Muckleshoot Indian Casino Master Agreement for Goods and Services.

 All communication regarding this RFP must be communicated to the Purchasing department.

We will conduct several rounds of negotiations, as necessary, for all proposals. If your company is a Native American owned firm, please provide documentation of such status with your bid. Provide any other information or documentation you believe will assist us in selecting your business.
