The rectory was built under the new acts in 1827 granted by the Board of First Fruits and was the property of the King and managed by Lieutenant John Conyngham. It was sold in 1925 by the Representative Body of the Church of Ireland to the present owners. The entire building is weatherproofed and used as holiday residence. It does require further modernisation and renovations.
Outhouse: Two storey natural stone stable block with cobbled courtyard to the rear of the Rectory.
Grounds: Approx 1 acre, well defined. In Pre Fmine times there were Tenant farmers on the lands and these were evicted for failure to pay their stipends and the burned out remains of the crofters cottage are still to be seen on the boundaries of the Glebe lands. There were two standing stones directly in front of Glebe House and are depicted on the 1835 Ordnance Survey map as Crofters stones. Sadly only one of these stones remains on the site today.
