PREMIER’S ANNUAL ADDRESS TO THE PROVINCIAL HOUSE OF TRADITIONAL LEADERS

The Honourable of Mpumalanga, Mr will deliver his annual address to the Sixth Ordinary Sitting of the First Session of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders for 2013/2014. In his address the Premier will outline provincial government’s programmes that are aimed at assisting the Traditional Leadership institution and developing traditional communities. He will also outline his expectations on how Traditional Leaders can work with government to improve services to the community.

After the official address, Premier Mabuza and MEC Simon Skhosana will hand over five vehicles to members of the Executive Committee of the House of Traditional Leaders. Another vehicle will be handed to members of the Provincial Committee on Disputes and Claims on traditional leadership. The department will be handing over these vehicles to assist members in execution of their official duties.

The opening will be attended by amongst others, Members of the Executive Council (MECs), Traditional Leaders, Executive Mayors, and Councillors.
