El equipo se elige año a año en función de la clasificación del jugador en el ranking nacional a final del año anterior, su edad, su implicación etc. En este proyecto trabajamos en coordinación con el programa de la Federación Española. Sólo la Real Federación Anda- luza, la Catalana y la Madrileña tienen programas de ayuda a los jóvenes pros.C. Prácticamente el 90% del presupuesto se dedica al equipo. La beca incluye una dotación económica importante y suficiente para poder acome- ter el circuito nacional así como pruebas del ALPS TOUR. Así mismo la beca incluye material deportivo, ropa y soporte logístico durante la temporada. Además del montante de la beca la RFAG asume los gastos de inscripción de estos jugadores, en las escuelas del circuito europeo. En referencia al golf profesional femenino, el comité apoyo, como todos los años el circuito Banesto, con una modesta aportación económica. AYUDAS NEO PROS: El Comité Técnico de Profesionales de la Real Federación Andaluza de Golf ha acordado para la temporada 2011 una serie de ayudas y subvenciones de las que se beneficiarán directamente 8 jóvenes jugadores. El listado de golfistas seleccionados lo componen Jaime Camargo Yravedra, Sergio Gutiérrez Sánchez, Gonzalo Vicente Elena, Gervasio Cuquejo Merchán, Juan Manuel Fuen- tes Pérez, Juan Ochoa Montiel y José Alejandro Quirós Díaz. Completa la nómina de jugadores distinguidos, Gonzalo Gancedo Onieva, elegido por REALE Seguros, empresa patrocinadora del programa de subvenciones a los golfistas profesionales andaluces. Entre los requisitos establecidos para poder optar a la concesión de estas ayudas, además de solicitarlo por escrito antes del 30 de noviembre del pasado año, figuraban al- gunos como estar en posesión de la licencia por Andalucía, no tener más de 28 años o no formar parte del Programa Neo de la Real Federación Española de Golf. ESCUELA DEL CIRCUITO EUROPEO: Los jugadores andaluces subvencionados para la pre de la PQ fueron: Gonzalo Vicente Elena, Sergio Gutiérrez Sánchez, Juan Manuel Fuen- tes, Juan Ochoa Montiel, José Alejandro Quirós, Jaime Camargo Yravedra, Ignacio Sán- chez-Palencia y Gonzalo Gancedo. I MATCH RFGA-APGA: Celebrado el 22 de Enero en Club de Golf La Cañada, siendo la primera edición de una Match, entre Real Federación Andaluza de Golf y Asociación de Pro- fesionales de Golf de Andalucía. Los equipos estaban compuestos por 12 jugadores en cada uno. En el equipo ama- teur se encontraban Scott William Fernández, Francisco Mateo, Rafael Montero, Oliver Mena, Marcos Pastor, José López Bautista, Félix Alberto Sánchez Pérez, Antonio Cruz- Conde, José Mateo, Fernando Ruiz, Carlos Segura y Carlos Leandro. En el equipo de Pofesionales participaron: Juan Quirós, Robert Lantsoght, Alfonso Gutiérrez, Juan Ochoa, José Luís López, Sergio Gutiérrez, Daniel Quirós, Jaime Camargo, Jesús Tineo, Rod Bastard, Carlos Rodiles y Raúl Quirós. Finalmente vencieron los amateurs por 7 a 5. COMITÉ TÉCNICO PROFESIONALES 267 REAL FEDERACION ANDALUZA DE GOLF BANESTO TOUR: Celebrado el 7 de Marzo en Golf Novo Sancti Petri, participaron 48 juga doras inscritas, entre las cuales se encontraban cuatro profesinales andaluzas: 1ª - Belén Mozo Palacios 72 - 67 = 139 5ª - Laura Cabanillas Gómez 69 - 76 = 145 18ª - Marta Prieto Olivares 80 - 73 = 153 - Ana Belén Sánchez 76 - 77 = 153 CAMPEONATO DE ESPAÑA PROFESIONALES FEMENINO: Celebrado en La Sella Golf del 7 al 9 de Abril. Los resultados de las dos profesionales andaluzas participantes fueron los siguientes: 2ª - Laura Cabanillas Gómez 76 - 70 - 71 = 217 9ª - Marta Prieto 75 - 75 - 76 = 226 COPA DE EUROPA FEMENINA: Celebrada en La Sella Golf del 14 al 17 de Abril, participa- ron 6 paises, entre ellos España, representada entre otras por la andaluza Azahara Muñoz,. Finalmente España se proclama Subcampeona con un total de 202 golpes. I CIRCUITO AYMERICH PGA: Celebrado en Golf Costa Esuri, del 22 al 24 de Abril, los primeros clasificados andaluces fueron los siguientes: 1º - Carlos Rodiles 68 - 69 - 66 = 203 2º - Gabriel Cañizares 69 - 67 - 67 = 203 7º - Gervasio Cuquejo 69 - 70 - 69 = 208 10º- Yvo Giner 72 - 70 - 68 = 210 14º- Manuel Quirós 72 - 71 - 69 = 212 17º- Tomás Jesús Muñoz 75 - 66 - 72 = 213 EXAMEN: El día 16 de Mayo tuvo lugar para acceder a la Categoría de Jugador Profesional, a la que fue sometida la jugadora Carmen Montava Eslava. BANESTO TOUR: Celebrado en Lerma (Burgos) el 10 y 11 de Junio. Entre las 31 jugadoras inscritas, se encontraban 3 andaluces, cuyas posiciones y resultados fueron las siguientes: 1ª - Laura Cabanillas Gómez 70 - 64 = 134 4ª - Ana Belén Sanchez Torreblanca 72 - 66 = 138 25ª- María Ángeles Jiménez de Miguel 76 - 75 = 151 BANESTO GOLF TOUR: Celebrado en Los Balagares Golf el 22 y 23 de Julio. Entre las 34 inscritas, se encontraban dos jugadoras andaluzas: 14ª - Ana Belén Sánchez Torreblanca 71 - 72 = 143 32ª - Mª Angeles de Miguel 77 - 77 = 154 BANESTO GOLF TOUR: Celebrado en Isla Valdecañas Golf, los días 23 y 24 de Septiem- bre, destacamos en la clasificación a tres jugadoras andaluzas: 6ª - Laura Cabanillas Gómez 73 - 72 = 145 13ª - Ana Fernández de Mesa 75 - 76 = 151 20ª - Ana Belén Sánchez Torreblanca 84 - 75 = 151 SOLHEIM CUP: Celebrado a principios del mes de Octubre, las norteamericanas perdieron entre otros motivos, por el buen papel de una de las componente del equipo Europeo, la malagueña Azahara Muñoz Guijarro. COMITÉ TÉCNICO PROFESIONALES 268 REAL FEDERACION ANDALUZA DE GOLF BANESTO TOUR SANT CUGAT: Celebrado en Club Sant Cugat, los días 6 y 7 de Octubre, la malagueña Azahara Muñoz, se clasificó en el puesto 18ª, con un total de 145 golpes.     A Message to the Media n behalf of the players and staff, welcome to the 2004 PGA TOUR season. We appreciate your continued interest in our sport, and we clearly recognize the extent to which our success is tied to the thorough and professional coverage we receive from a Owide variety of global media outlets. As the PGA TOUR begins another great season, we can truly state that the image and competitive spirit of our players has led to the healthiest state in the history of our organization. The Sports Business Journal recently reaffirmed this when it published the “2003 League Report Card,” a survey of corporate sponsors’ opinions of their investment in sports properties. The PGA TOUR ranked first in overall satisfaction among the 16 major sports. This is important as we continue to raise the exposure of our tournaments, provide significant value to our sponsors and showcase the widespread excellence of our athletes. The competition level on the PGA TOUR in 2003 was at an all-time high, with season-ending honors going down to the wire. Tiger Woods recorded a season-high five victories and the lowest stroke average on TOUR and garnered a fifth consecutive Player of the Year honor. Vijay Singh won four times and captured his first money title. Davis Love III won a career-high four times, includ- ing THE PLAYERS Championship, making 2003 the first time in 30 years where three players won four or more times in a season. However, the depth of the TOUR was never more evident. Eleven players age 40 or older combined to capture 15 PGA TOUR titles.
