As stated in the handbook, Eagle Ridge Academy maintains an official standard of , complete with a that must be worn every day in order to encourage students to think of their attire as an aspect of their work, to eliminate self-consciousness and social competition, and to foster a sense of identity. The uniform is to be worn at all times during the school day. Formal uniform is required on formal uniform days, on specified field trips, and on special occasions.

Eagle Ridge Academy does not recognize the following as appropriate school day footwear: backless or open-toed styles (i.e., flip flops, , etc.), tall , snow or rain boots, platform shoes, roller skate shoes, , or shoes designated as unsafe by the teacher. For safety, the heel height must not exceed one inch.

Hair, Makeup, and Accessories should be professional: discreet and modest. In general student hair, makeup, and accessories should be consistent with the professionalism of the Academy’s uniform.

DEFINITIONS: Tights – skintight knit covering the body starting at the waist, covering the feet Leggings – fitted stretch pants that do not cover the feet Banded – band of fabric around the bottom of the shirt so the shirt can be folded over without being tucked in
