Ono, President and Vice-Chancellor FOR INFORMATION Report Date August 7, 2019 Presented By Heather McCaw, Vice-President Development & Alumni Engagement Natalie Cook-Zywicki, Interim AVP Alumni and Executive Director, alumni UBC EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Highlights of alumni activity from the first quarter of FY20 including: alumni UBC welcomed more than 9,000 new alumni on both the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, the Faculty of Education hosted speaker Margaret Trudeau, and we recognized many of UBC’s volunteers with a reception during National Volunteer Week.
