Local Alberta Favorite’s The Polyjesters join forces with the Juno nominated and well known Canadian songbird Cindy Church, in collaboration and celebration of the opening of Calgary’s most elegant new entertainment venue, Club Paradiso.

Club Paradiso isn’t just another club. It is Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, it’s Casablanca (here’s lookin’ at you kid!), it’s luxury and comfort and delight all rolled into one. Plush banquets, an intimate stage, wood oven tapas, martinis & fresh cocktails are there for your evenings enjoyment. The vibe whispers 'smoky jazz' (without the smoke). Located above Village Cantina Tropical Grill in Inglewood, this venue is designed for unique entertainment and intimate gatherings, and you'll find the roof top patio with a fireplace coffee table & plush seating completely irresistible.

THE POLYJESTERS… Though the Polyjesters don’t appear to be “Casablanca,” these comical and talented gents cut their teeth on the old swing and jazz recordings of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Its rooted so deep in their souls they have to play their hearts and hands out just to quell the beats... I mean beast. Jason Valleau (bass), typically seen wearing a jazzy bowler or top hat, epitomizes one’s idea of a beatnick, his brother Sheldon Valleau (ukelele) makes all his friends listen repeatedly to “That Old Black Magic” by Sammy Davis Jr., and Aaron Young’s (guitar) licks can master any style of music, though he’s heard “That Old Black Magic” so www.mvmusicfest.ca many times he has swing music pulsing through his veins. These cats can be heard swinging most recently on their 4th album, “Kitchen Radio”, available on the band’s website. Don’t miss your chance to see this group in this exclusive and unique show.
