Travel approximately 2 miles and turn left into Oak Lane adjoining Hallmark Tractors. Travel 1.5 miles into the village of Marston Montgomery, then take the first left into Somersal Lane with the car park field lying on the left. From Uttoxeter pick up the B5030 towards Rocester. Travel approximately 3 miles, and at the 2nd mini roundabout turn right into Rocester. Continue through Rocester village, travel straight on down Mill Lane, passing the JCB Academy on the left. Travel 1 mile up Marston Bank and at the grass triangle turn right signed Marston Montgomery. Travel through the village, passing the Crown pub on the left and take the 2nd right into Somersal Lane, with the car park field lying on the left. ‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale. FOREWORD This varied and interesting sale of collectors’ items at Marston Montgomery arises as a result of Mr Alan Buckley fully retiring and selling his collection of around 50 years. There are in excess of 450 lots to include large numbers of stone items and a full range of collectables some of which have been retrieved from a very wide area and some of which have local provenance from Uttoxeter and Ashbourne and the surrounding towns and villages. The sale includes the Royal Mail Barrow from Carter Street Uttoxeter and various items from Burton Brewery’s with a wealth of small items for genuine dispersal. Loading facilities will be provided on sale day only with no buyer’s premium charged and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this excellent collector’s sale with many varied lots available.
