How to Set up Apple Pay You can set up Apple Pay in a few easy steps. The process for adding a card is a little different between your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. If your MasterCard credit card is already on file with Apple (iTunes) and is eligible for the service, you will be offered an option to use it as your default account for Apple Pay. iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus: 1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone 2. Tap Add Credit Card 3. Use the camera to capture the information on your card (make sure to position the card in the camera’s frame). You can also manually enter the name on the card, the card number, and expiration date. 4. Enter the security code on the back of your card, and fill in any remaining fields. iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3: 1. Go into Settings 2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay 3. Tap Add Credit Card 4. Use the camera to capture the information on your card (make sure to position the card in the camera’s frame). You can also manually enter the name on the card, the card number, and the expiration date. 5. Enter the security code on the back of your card, and fill in any remaining fields. Apple Watch: 1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone 5 or 6 (must be running iOS 8.2 or higher) 2. Tap the My Watch tab 3. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay 4. Tap Add Credit Card, then tap Next 5. If requested, follow additional steps to verify your card. You will receive an email or a letter in the mail as confirmation.
