The species Orectis proboscidata,Chortodesfluxa,Mythimnaimpura and Mythimna alopecuri present new-founded species for the fauna of Serbia. The species were found in sur- rounding of Bor (east Serbia). Furthermore, the finding of species Chortodesfluxa presents the first one for former Yugoslavia. KEY WORDS: Noctuidae, Lepidoptera, moths, fauna, Serbia INTRODUCTION Theformer research shows that it has been recorded the five hundred sixteen species of family Noctuidae in Serbia until now. Here are shown several interest- ing species that have been found in the surrounding of Bor (east Serbia), which have not been recorded until now for the fauna of Serbia. AREA EXAMINED The species were found in the surrounding of Bor (east Serbia). The locali- ties of findings are marked on given map with UTM grids (Fig. 1). The locality Stol is drawn on map with appropriate scale. The locality is marked as (EP99). The altitude is about 850 m. The locality Brestovačka banja is drawn on map with appropriate scale. E-mail: [email protected] 5Corresponding author Abstract The genus Protarchanara Beck, 1999 is revised. The new genus Hydredes gen. n. (type species Hydredes yakobsoni sp. n.) is described. Three new species, Hydredes yakobsoni sp. n., H. shchetkini sp. n. and Protarchanara mythimnoida sp. n. are described from Central Asia. Two species, Arenostola delattini Wiltshire, 1953 and Hydraecia praecipua Hacker & Nekrasov, 2001 are transferred to the genus Hydredes gen. n. Protarchanara brevilinea impudica (Staudinger, 1892) stat. n. is upgraded to subspecific level. Lectotypes for Namangana contumax Püngeler, 1902, Sidemia (Luperina) johni Püngeler, 1914 and Nonagria impudica Staudinger, 1892 are designated. The adults and male and female genitalia are il- lustrated. -

Errata and first uppppdate to the 2010 checklist of the Lepidoptera of Alberta Gregory R. Pohl, Jason J Dombroskie, Jean‐François Landry, Charles D Bird, and Vazrick Nazari lead author contact: [email protected] Introduction: Since the Annotated list of the Lepidoptera of Alberta was published in March 2010 (Pohl et al. 2010), a few typographical and nomenclatural errors have come to the authors' attention, as well as three erroneous AB records that were inadvertently omitted from that publication. Additionally, a considerable number of new AB species records have been brought to our attention since that checklist went to press. As expected, most are microlepidoptera. We detail all these items below, in what we hope will be a regular series of addenda to the AB list. If you are aware of further errors or additions to the AB Lepidoptera list, please contact the authors. Wit hin the NidNoctuoidea, there are a few minor iiiinconsistencies in the order of species wihiithin genera, and in the order of genera within tribes or subtribes, as compared to the sequence published by Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010). As well, the sequence of tribes in the AB list does not exactly match that of Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010), particularly in the Erebinae. We are not detailing those minor differences here unless they involve a move to a new genus or new higher taxonomic category. Errata: Abstract, p. 2, line 10, should read "1530... annotations are given" 41 Nemapogon granella (p. 55). Add Kearfott (1905) to the AB literature records. 78 Caloptilia syringella (p. 60). This species should be placed in the genus Gracillaria as per De Prins & De Prins (2005). -

Seven species (Dahlica triquetrella (Hübner, 1813), Xanthorhoe designata (Hufnagel, 1767), Eupithecia inturbata (Hübner, 1817), Plusia festucae (Linnaeus, 1758), Calamia tridens (Hufnagel, 1766), Polymixis polymita (Linnaeus, 1761), Agrotis syricola Berio, 1936) are new for Southern Italy, 15 taxa were the first time recorded in Puglia, 87 in Campania, 10 in Basilicata and 20 in Calabria. The great amount of faunistic news underlines the high species richness of Southern Italy, a large amount of which is to date unknown. Key Words: Macrolepidoptera, faunistic reports, Southern Italy. INTRODUZIONE Le recenti ricerche condotte sui Lepidotteri nelle regioni meridionali dell’Italia continentale hanno notevolmente incrementato il patrimonio faunistico, contribuendo a delineare in modo più dettagliato il profilo biogeografico del territorio. La notevole ricchezza biocenotica, unitamente all’ininterrotto periodo di volo dei lepidotteri, soprattutto nelle aree costiere, fanno sì che solo una limitata porzione della variabilità ambientale sia stata finora campionata in modo esauriente. Five noctuid species are recorded from Europe for the first time: Eublemma conistrota Hampson, 1910, Eiiblemma deserti Rothschild, 1909, Anumeta hilgerti (Rothschild 1909), Hadiila deserticula (Hampson 1905), and Eiixoa canariensis Rebel, 1902. New synonyms are stated: Leptosia velocissima f. tarda Turati, 1926, syn. n. and Leptosia griseimargo Warren, 1912, syn. n., both synonyms of Metachrostis velox (Hübner, 1813); and Pseudohadena (Eremohadena) roseonitens espugnensis Lajonquiere, 1964, syn. n., a synonym of P. (E.) roseonitens roseonitens (Oberthür, 1887). A new subspecies of Xylena exsoleta (Linneaus, 1758), Xylena exsoleta maltensis ssp. n., is established. The literature on Maltese Noctuoidea is reviewed and erronuousely reported species are indicated. -

Dezember 2008 ISBN 3-938249-08-0 The Moths Fauna (Lepidoptera) of Şile in the Asian Part of Istanbul Province, Turkey (pl. 39) Thomas BARON Key Words: Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Turkey, Istanbul Stichworte: Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Türkei, Istanbul Deutsche Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Artikel berichtet über die Fangergebnisse von Noctuoiden und anderen Nachtfaltern in Şile, einer Kleinstadt am Schwarzen Meer in Westanatolien / Türkei. Der Ort und der Landkeis Şile sind Teil der Provinz Istanbul. Einige weitere Fangergeb- nisse des Autors in anderen Teilen der Provinz Istanbul sind ebenfalls aufgeführt. Betrachtet wurden Arten der Familien Notodontidae, Nolidae, Arctiidae, Lymantriidae, Erebidae, Noctuidae, Sphingidae, Lasiocam- pidae, Saturniidae, Drepanidae und Thyatiridae. Nicht berücksichtigt wurden Microlepidoptera und Geometridae. Die Artenliste wurde, wo nötig oder sinnvoll, mit einigen zusätzlichen Angaben angereichert, die allgemeine Verbreitung, ähnliche Arten oder das Vorkommen in Şile und anderen Teilen der Provinz Istanbul kommentieren. Für jede Art wird mit römischen Ziffern angegeben, in welchem Monat die Fänge erfolgt sind. Hierbei bedeutet (b) Anfang, (m) Mitte und (e) Ende des Monats. Die Zahl der gefangenen Spezimens wurde als grober Schätzwert für die tatsächliche Häufigkeit verwandt und die Arten dement- sprechend in vier Kategorien eingeteilt: vc – sehr häufig c – häufig s - vereinzelt r – selten Es wird deutlich, dass die Fauna Istanbuls derjenigen Rumäniens und mehr noch derjenigen Bulgariens ähnelt, beides Länder, die ebenfalls am Schwarzen Meer liegen. Da Istanbul aber auch mediterranen Einflüssen unterliegt, ist eine stärkere Vertretung des mediterranen Faunenelementes zu beobachten. Nur eine der festgestellten Arten wurde bisher in Bulgarien noch nicht gefunden, für Rumänien sind es einige mehr. -

Introduction The Checklist of the Lepidoptera of the British Isles has previously been amended (Agassiz, Beavan & Heckford 2016a, 2016b, 2019 and 2020). This update details 4 species new to the main list and 3 to Appendix A. Numerous taxonomic changes are incorporated and country distributions are updated. CENSUS The number of species now recorded from the British Isles stands at 2,558 of which 58 are thought to be extinct and in addition there are 191 adventive species. New York Natural Heritage Program ii Executive summary Vulnerability assessments are rapidly becoming an essential tool in climate change adaptation planning. As states revise their Wildlife Action Plans, the need to integrate climate change considerations drives the adoption of vulnerability assessments as critical components. To help meet this need for New York, we calculated the relative vulnerability of 119 of New York’s Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN) using NatureServe’s Climate Change Vulnerability Index (CCVI). The list, comprising 624 species in the families Lasiocampidae, Endromidae, Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Notodontidae, Noctuidae, Pantheidae, Lymantriidae, Nolidae and Arctiidae from the Southern Ural Mountains is presented. The material was collected during 1996–2001 in 10 different expeditions. Dichagyris lux Fibiger & K.
