2BSchool Cooper City High School (CCHS) is located in Cooper City, FL and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. CCHS is a comprehensive public school, nationally acclaimed as a Blue Ribbon School and recognized as one of America’s Best High Schools by US News & World Report – ranked among the top 9% in the nation, and recognized as a designated School of Excellence by the FLDOE. Moreover, the school has been recognized by Broward County Public Schools for its 99% graduation rate – one of the highest in the county – 55% were Honor Grads 90% of seniors had college post-secondary plans. CCHS has 2343 students, grades 9 through 12, with a culturally diverse population: 47% White, 34% Hispanic/Latino, 9% Black, 6% Asian and 4% Multi-racial or Other. Cooper City High School offers 25 Advanced Placement classes as well as 52 honors classes, in addition to 15 AICE Cambridge courses. 4BAdvanced Placement and Dual Enrollment In 2020, 633 CCHS students took over 1,111 AP tests in 25 subjects, and 67% scored 3 or higher. Also, 10 students received an AP Capstone Diploma, and 1 student received AICE Diploma. In 2020, 509 CCHS students took over 785 AICE tests, with 698 passing their Cambridge Exam. In 2020, 331 students took Dual Enrollment courses and 31 students were Early Admission students at and University of Florida.
