No. 143 3 FUTURE BUSINESS *Baroness Ludford to ask Her Majesty’s Government what retrospective checks they intend to make, if any, into the financial backgrounds of foreign citizens, predominantly from Russia and China, who were granted United Kingdom residence through Tier One Investor visas, in the light of the reductions in applications and acceptances since the introduction of prior money-laundering checks in 2015. *Lord Roberts of Llandudno to ask Her Majesty’s Government whether it is their continuing policy to deport failed unaccompanied asylum seekers on reaching 18 years of age. Tuesday 10 May at 2.30pm *Lord Naseby to ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they have plans to undertake an urgent review into the financial sustainability of high street trade in England and Wales in the light of the growth of online retail and the increase in overhead costs for shops trading on the high street. *Lord Vinson to ask Her Majesty’s Government, in the light of net immigration continuing at over 300,000 people per year, and the latest Office for National Statistics projections indicating an increase in the United Kingdom population, including births, of 500,000 per year for the next six years, what plans they have to limit immigration and to build more hospitals, schools, housing and prisons to meet an increase in demand. *Lord Addington to ask Her Majesty’s Government what consideration they have given to placing a duty on all publicly funded and professional sporting bodies to co-operate actively in identifying and punishing anyone damaging the integrity of sport. The awards honour the most gifted and promising students from various schools across Camden. Following trends from past years girls preformed exceptionally well scooping the top three prices. Awards were also extended to those who have contributed to the community thanking them for given up their free time to support others. Besides the large crowd of young people and their families, the Annual Achievement Awards, which is one of the most inspiring events in the borough, was further attended by Labour MP for Holborn and St Pancras Rt Hon Frank Dobson, the leader of Camden Council Cllr Nasim Ali, leader of Liberal Democrats Cllr Keith Moffitt, Mayor of Camden Cllr Abdul Quadir, Holborn and Covent Garden Councilor Awale Olad, Camden’s Chief Executive Mike Cooke, Camden’s Assistant Director Achievement Tim Coulson, Chief Superintendent Borough Commander John Sunderland and Somali comedian Prince Abdi. The consultation ran from 12 October to 11 December 2015. 1.2 Information about the proposals was available online. Members of the public and other stakeholders could give their views either by completing a questionnaire, responding by email or by post. The questionnaire could be filled in either online or by a paper copy. 1.3 The consultation was supported by a comprehensive marketing campaign: 17,000 consultation leaflets were sent out to local residents and businesses Emails were sent to 256,000 Oystercard users who have used the station or passed through the station Letters and emails were sent to local, London wide and national statutory and non-statutory stakeholder groups and individuals Letters and leaflets were sent to owners of properties who are immediate neighbours of the proposed work site.
