She also was the drum major for the UA‟s marching band for a couple of years. One of the lows would be her procrastination. Weaver said she‟s working on improving this. Weaver‟s biggest advice is to take risks, stay focused and be motivated, but have fun and enjoy life. Weaver takes a lot of risks in life, and one way she does this is by changing her hair style and hair color quite often. “I‟m not sure what I want to do with my hair,” Weaver said. “I love every hairstyle that I have, and I‟m going to continue to take risks with my hair.” During Weaver‟s free time she dances, participates in sports and works at Home Depot. Jalen Smith, also a senior at UA, is Weaver‟s best friend and he works at Home Depot with her. Smith is an important person in Weaver‟s life. They became friends a long time ago, but when they got older they realized just how much they had in common. “We both love music, food and making money,” Smith said. Something that would probably surprise you is that they don't talk on the phone or text each other a lot. “I don‟t think it's a big deal,” Smith said. “We work together, go to the same school and the same church, so I see her a lot and we get to spend a lot of time with each other.” Smith used the word “outgoing” to describe Weaver. “Ja‟nae is so confident, she always influences and she‟s a great support system,” Smith said. 3 The Inquiry: What‟s Happened So Far By Rowan Veenstra NOTE: This article was written hearings.
