Abstract: Anewsubspecies,Mixobatesbrachypalpisozkani subsp.nov.,isdescribedfromastreamintheRizeregion(EasternBlack Seacoast,Turkey).Thenewsubspeciescanbeeasilydistinguishedfromthetypematerialof M.brachypalpis,aspeciesreported onlyfromthe locustypicus inRussia,bythemoreelongatedandslenderI-L-5/6.Inaddition,3watermitespecies( Torrenticola oraviensis (Láska,1953),Torrenticolathori (Halbert,1944)andMideopsisroztoczensisBiesiadkaandKovalik,1979)arereported forthefirsttimefromTurkey.
